There's something magical in how CRAZY BEAUTIFUL YOU delivers its teenage romantic tale. As it unfolds, this new KathNiel movie, bares no different skin, and unveils a familiar picture reminiscent of countless others belonging to its genre. Yet, it is through this familiarity, that the movie takes its greatest strengths. It's with its simplicity and honesty that the film is able to seamlessly hit its targets, and deliver its message with haunting resonance.

On moments where the story shreds its details, CRAZY BEAUTIFUL YOU comes across with piercing yet tangible truths about family and young love, and forgiveness and acceptance. There's these striking references to Mount Pinatubo's eruption--how it created an ambrosial beauty after an utterly horrendous disaster--and to Jackie's pictures--how it assumes heart when taken at newer perspectives--both of which rings across the path that our leads take on their way to maturity, and across the story's overall progression. On those moments, the scenery and music both play as key factors, for bringing the emotional capacity of the film to seismic levels.

There's no doubt that Kathryn and Daniel are central to the film's overwhelming charisma, as we see how their characters transform throughout the film, and plays in perfect accord with the story's lazy yet satisfying development. And against the backdrop of Pinatubo and dusty yet breathtaking landscape of the lahar-infested Aeta community of Tarukan, plus the mostly timely insertion of Starship's Nothing Gonna Stop Us Now, that KathNiel charm proves to be the biggest asset that this film has.

In the end, Crazy Beautiful You, triumphs in delivering its full capacity. In spite of its tiring formula, the film pays utmost attention to its details carefully and exquisitely, enough for it to completely shrug off its easily recognizable set-up. This is easily my top teen romantic movie of the year. I give the film 9/10 stars.

I go to a lot of screenings and it is rare that once the credits roll I feel satisfied. One or more of the elements of most films just don't work together to create a feeling that you have been thoroughly entertained.

I am happy to say that this film DELIVERS! The acting is superb, the chemistry between all of the actors is sizzling, the comedy is absolutely hilarious, the storyline grips you and never lets go, the music is superb, and you feel emotionally connected with the characters and story.

If you check my previous reviews, you will see that I am most often moved to write a review when a film was really bad, but this film caught me completely off guard and I just had to express my overwhelming satisfaction with this filmmaking experience.

I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to try and finance a period film with two stars who were not well known outside of their own country. I am just overjoyed that it all came together. This is how film should make you feel when you leave the theater - entertained! To the entire production team - BRAVO!!

Many reviews criticise this title for being a cliché or being unoriginal or being too normal. And that
is exactly what gave this movie it's magic. Sometimes being human and being in love is much
less that finding some deeper insight and more about just struggling though circumstances as best
we can. There is a movie for everyone and not all stories needs to be grossly intense and over
engineered. The production value was of a good quality and I fail to see why so many reviews
would give this movie such low scores – maybe because they were not able to appreciate the
 simplicity of this film?

It is in its lightness and simplicity that its ability to reach an audience lies. It is true to itself and
though yes, it can be too soft at times, I suspect that is exactly what the viewer wants when (s)he
takes a title like "endless love" off the DVD shelf. The story moves at a very good pace, the
acting is placed just right and all the elements works together to make a very engaging experience.
It is not quite a chick flick, neither is it a film that is going to race at the Tribeca Film Festival. But I think it was written with gentleness and care. It was directed and acted with a sense of maturity and the viewer do get the feeling that the film maker understood the subject very deeply and if merely by that he reached an audience and gave them a deeper insight into the issues they are dealing with in their own lives, it is a successful piece of work.

There is absolutely NOTHING offensive about this movie and though I was not moved to tears, it did
not fail to touch me none the less. I can say this many times – not every time I watch a film, do
I want to step away with the heavy emotional content of Schindler's List and neither do I want to
start awarding Oscars for best performances. Some days all I want it to walk away and feel that I
have seen a story worth watching, that was done with respect and that understands life.

After her boyfriend broke up, Jen decides to go on vacation to Nice with her parents. She promised herself not to deal with any guy during this trip, until she meets Spencer. Spencer is a handsome, charming man who has –according to Jen- something mysterious. He gives her right away butterflies and after a few months, they are a married couple. Everything seems to be completely perfect and it looks like Jen has finally found the love of her life. However, their idyllic marriage turns into a weird nightmare, when all their neighbors and friends try to kill Spencer. He might not have been completely honest with Jen about his previous job as an.. assassin. Despite the fact that he quit his job when he met Jen in France, his former colleagues still want to handle something with him.

Robert Luketic is an Australian director of (generally) romantic comedies. Before the movie Killers, he directed a few other films such as Legally Blonde, The Ugly Truth and Monster-in-Law. The movie is made with a wink to the Mr. and Mrs. Smith film, which was a great success. People consider Robert Luketic as a traditional director, whose name doesn't sound very notorious. Katherine Heigl also played the leading role in Luketic's previous movie The Ugly Truth, so they were no strangers to each other.

It's the first time Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher had to play lovers, but you could hardly notice. They seemed to have a good connection and you could almost feel the chemistry between them. Heigl is an accurate actress who is used to play in romantic movies. In almost every film, she portrays the incredibly innocent, slightly clumsy girl. Most of her characters are so devoted to their job, that they hardly have a social life next to it. She often plays the 'attractive, polite girl-next-door, who tends to talk just a little bit too much. An example of this role is her character in 27 dresses. Ashton Kutcher has been cast in a series of film roles, like What Happens in Vegas. In Killers, he is represented as a sexy, mysterious, gentle man who is immediately captured by the charms of his antagonist. In one word: a perfect husband. You can see that Kutcher has an excellent timing when it comes to eye contact and facial expressions towards his partner. He and Heigl make a cute couple together.

The movie is a combination of an action-comedy story, with a few romantic twists. If you don't know what to do on a cozy Saturday night, I can perfectly recommend you to watch this breezy, entertaining comedy!

When one thinks of great movies they remember the classics such as gone with the wind, Ben hur etc... but let us not forget one of the greatest cinematic triumphs of Hindi Cinema Mughal-e-Azam a film set in the times of the great Moughul Empire. Having seen both the part B/W and Colour and the remastered full colour version I can truly say that the colourised version truly brings out the true glory of this amazing classic putting it in a league way beyond the Classics of today. The dialogue is simply superb and the acting truly amazing modern filmmakers could learn thing or two about acting. The cinematography is simply stunning for a movie of its time. the grandeur and opulence of the sets really comes out in full colour. The story though not very relevant for modern times shows the views and attitudes of India's past. a truly great film to watch...

While the movie had decent production values, the story/script was just a fragmented mess, frequently bordering on nonsensical. I found myself asking "why did that just happen?" over and over again. Suspect this is one of those projects where multiple writers were brought in re-working and re-working the story.

The preachy ending seemed like an unintentional parody of some left- wing think tank grade school recruiting video, completely consistent with George Clooney's politics.

The acting was decent, especially the kids, but their best intentions were doomed by what they had to work with.

Also, I would expect most kids would find this movie too long, and too confusing to be very entertained by it.
